NOTE: This soup is so good, just like the Thanksgiving turkey everybody loved, it is a way to keep the flavor going. This soup will warm your heart and soul, and you can have it on the table in 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup celery, chopped small
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped small
- 1/2 cup carrot, chopped small
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (32-ounce) carton chicken broth
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups dry egg noodles
- 1(10.5-ounce)can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 to 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups tender cooked turkey in pieces
- salt and pepper to taste

- In large 8-quart pot pour olive oil and butter and bring to medium heat. Add the celery, onion, carrot, salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Saute the vegetables until transluscent, about 6 minutes. Add the chicken broth, bouillon cubes and water. Bring to gentle boil and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. Next, add the egg noodles and cook right in the broth for about 6 minutes.
- Lastly, add the cream of chicken soup and milk and stir together well. Add the turkey and heat the meat and broth together until well heated through, about 6 to 8 minutes. Taste soup, and add desired seasonings. Serves 6.
