Festival of Little Italy event is held each year in Clinton, Indiana, during the 4-day Labor Day weekend, every September. This annual event is held in honor of the Italian heritage of Clinton, and the goal-mining industry that prevailed during the 18th and 19th century. Clinton boasts one of the few coal mining museums in the nation. The Festival began in 1966 and the event draws over 275,00 visitors annually, featuring Italian and carnival-style food, grapevine-roofed wine garden, and grape stomping.
I am privileged to be the only book signing author displaying the cookbooks, Rosalie Serving Best Loved Italian and Rosalie Serving Country. You will find me in a large barn area hosting Farmer’s Market, Venders and various displays. Please come by and visit, and be sure to savor the cake of the festival, the Italian Cream Cake. Also available will be my 5-Star Carrot Cake.
