This 10-day festival always starts on the 2nd Friday in October and runs through the next 9 days. The Festival began in 1957, when a group of local women decided to hold a three-day festival to accommodate the many interested tourists looking for information about the bridges. Now the festivals are thriving and showcase the county’s 31 historic covered bridges which features authentic arts and crafts, fantastic food, and beautiful fall foliage.
