This coming Friday, August, 11, and Saturday, August 12, I will be in downtown St. Louis, MO. on “The Hill”. This is one of the last authentic Italian communities in the Midwest. There are a multitude of restaurants, all boasting that they have the best fried ravioli, or the best red meat sauce. Of course, they do, and that is why trying one of the many eating places is always an adventure. The Italian markets are brimming with garlic, olive oil and spices of every kind. So, please come and see me at the wonderful DiGregorio’s Italian market on Friday, and John Viviano’s & Sons Italian Market on Saturday. DiGregorio’s is on Daggett Avenue, and John Viviano’s Market is on Shaw Avenue.
